Our experienced team in Zimbabwe are on hand to meet you face-to-face at our centrally located offices or respond via your website enquiry - to assist you with any enquiries, including the tailor-making of dream safaris for you. We also handle seaside and shopping holidays in Southern Africa and beyond. Travel Portfolio has a dedicated flight planning section for the discerning explorer.
HAYLEY - OUR LEADER
Hayley Idensohn has been in the tourism industry since 1994, the highlight of her career was during her time as a General Manager at Green Route (the number one destination management company in Zimbabwe at the time).

Her core focus is on the one-stop-shop based in the Travel Café, Arundel Village in Harare where every element and detail of your “Travel Portfolio” is taken care of, while offering old-world values merged with 21st century service. Hayley enjoys tailor-making itineraries that capture all the special elements that clients want to experience, especially relating to their dream safaris around Southern Africa.

RUVIMBO - ZIMBABWE
Ruvimbo Makomva is a graduate from Chinhoyi University of Technology and has a degree in Travel and Recreation. Ruvimbo joined Travel Portfolio in 2018 when she was on internship but has re-joined Travel Portfolio after a whole year of going back to college to complete her studies and is very passionate about not only tourism but about Travel Portfolio.

Ruvimbo’s organisational skills, bubbly personality, contagious laugh and passion for ensuring your holiday dreams are met and exceeded will ensure that you return time and again for assistance with planning your “travel portfolio” – not only for holidays but for flights also.
GLEN - UK
Glen Byrom, born and raised in Zimbabwe, has a global footprint in the specialised and demanding segments of creative Incentives, Conferences and Luxury Leisure Travel. He founded Africa’s pioneering Destination Management Company (DMC) Green Route almost 30 years ago, which placed Victoria Falls on the MICE world map. Glen was presented with Africa’s first SITE Crystal Award – the global incentive “Oscar” from the world incentive body – for IBM USA in 1995.

Glen remains involved in the MICE world, but is also passionate about brainstorming and creating safaris for the discerning individual traveller and small family groups, ensuring the magic of the various destinations is captured in the itinerary.
FAHTIMA - AUSTRALIA
"Swedish by birth, Australian by citizenship, Zimbabwean by heart. I was lucky enough to spend a few amazing years living in Zimbabwe with my husband, who is from there. With my background in tourism and hotel management I was involved with a safari lodge based in the Zambezi Valley. Zimbabwe is one of my favourite places, I adore its beauty, its culture and its wildlife, there’s no place quite like it. I still have family and friends in Zimbabwe and it is a place that I will always call home and travel to as often as possible. If you have any queries about visiting I would be more than happy to assist."
COL - SOUTH AFRICA
Colleen Luit, born and raised in Zimbabwe, has a wealth of experience and knowledge of Southern Africa. She was the Operations Manager of Green Route and rose to the ranks of General Manager of the company at its peak, when Zimbabwe was a very popular destination and the company was extremely busy running many conference and incentive groups. These groups travelled to various parts of Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa.

Later Colleen relocated to South Africa as the company expanded into the region, and she remained in tourism. Col is based in KwaZulu Natal, and is delighted to be part of both Travel Portfolio as well as the Victoria Falls DMC team as South African marketing representative and liaison person.
DAVID - USA
David King, born and raised in Zimbabwe, is a Chartered Accountant, trained at Price Waterhouse and still very much involved in the financial world, is on hand to assist with any financial / banking queries any of our American or other international clients may have.

He spent 7 years working at Credit Suisse, a multinational investment bank in London. He was the COO and Business Development Director for a Stock Exchange entity which necessitated understanding various businesses across various sectors. He now lives in Florida, USA and runs his consulting company while assisting Travel Portfolio with any marketing or financial queries.
His wife Bryony, born in Zimbabwe but raised in USA also worked at major multi-national companies in London and as a consultant, is also on hand to assist our clients in the USA.
