OUR MOST LOVED AFRICAN DESTINATIONS
Spoilt for choice on this vast, diverse and magical African Continent, the team of experienced and passionate explorers at Travel Portfolio will work with you to create your next unforgettable African Adventure.
Best kept secret
Explore this incredible national park, a UNESCO world heritage site and wilderness like nothing you’ve ever experienced. The human-wildlife interaction is minimal, due to a low human population in the surrounding areas, so the animals are relatively relaxed when encountered on foot, making Mana Pools one of the ultimate walking safari destinations.
The 4th largest man-made lake on earth gives you 2,000 kilometers of pristine shoreline to explore. Here you will find an abundance of wildlife roaming the shores, including 4 of the Big Five, with herds of majestic Elephants. Cruise the lake on a houseboat. Get close to the wildlife on foot, or indulge in some of the most exciting fishing for the famous Tiger Fish.
The smoke that thunders
Any African adventure would be incomplete without experiencing the mighty Victoria Falls. A UNESCO world heritage site and a “must-see-in-your-lifetime” phenomenon, not to mention the wildlife and extreme adventures. Our Travel Portfolio team has over 25 years expertise and experience, creating extraordinary experiences at Victoria Falls.
Botswana is the perfect choice for lovers of wild and authentic Africa. A huge country with vast expanses of pristine bush and abundant wildlife. The National Parks and private reserves cover almost 40% of the country’s land area and the movement of wildlife is unrestricted. Unquestionably one of Africa’s supreme safari destinations.
OUR MOST LOVED ACTIVITIES
An adventure exploring Africa with us will feed your soul, enrich your mind and fill your album with unforgettable moments and memories.
A safari sundowner is a magical experience and the best way to end a day of exploring the wild beauty of Africa. Gaze over the bush with a cocktail in hand and share the day's amazing sightings while the African bush turns into night and a whole different world of nocturnal creatures come to life.
WALKING WITH ENDANGERED WILDLIFE
Whether you’re tracking a pack of Wild Dogs led by a breeding pair or cautiously approaching a Black Rhino, walking in the African bush in search of endangered animals as magnificent as these is a privilege few will ever experience. Track with an anti-poaching team, or with an experienced professional guide. Whatever you choose, an African Safari is the best way of contributing to their survival.
Africa has incredible and diverse bird life and Travel Portfolio is the official Travel Agent for Bird Life Zimbabwe. The birding destinations offered are magically diverse and amongst the most scenic terrains of Zimbabwe. Some of the rare bird species include the elusive African Pitta and some of the endangered vultures.
Whether you explore the mighty Zambezi River, known to locals as “the river of life”, on a multi-day canoe safari or as an afternoon activity from your Safari Lodge, you’ll experience the river and wildlife as the early explorers, like David Livingstone, did in the 1850s. You’ll get up close with hippo, crocodiles, elephant and abundant bird life as you drift down this river full of myths & mystries.
WALKING AMONG AFRICAN GIANTS
Walk where few people have walked, among African giants, in their habitat, on their terms. Feel the quiet deep rumble of an African Elephant communicating with the herd or a lion, quietly moaning, growling. A walk on the wild side with a professional guide, who has a close relationship with the animals, is an absolute must-do African Safari experience.
Africa will capture your imagination whether you’re a professional photographer or an avid amateur. Base yourself in a luxury safari camp, on a walking safari, or board a houseboat on Lake Kariba or on the Chobe River, where you’ll encounter and photograph the incredible and highly sought-after wildlife of Africa.
ANGLING - ZAMBEZI RIVER, CHOBE & KARIBA
Traditional angling or fly-fishing - test your skills against a tiger fish, a world-renowned fighting fish and one of 134 different fish species found in the Zambezi River, Kariba, Okavango and Chobe River systems. Enjoy some of the best fishing in Africa while watching African wildlife on the shoreline - an adventure few fishermen will ever experience.

Kasia and Robert – Royal Holidays, Poland
Thank you so much for arranging every detail of our safari and journey Hayley
The best part was keeping it a secret from the kids that they were flying on a charter plane from Victoria Falls to Lake Kariba. First they couldn’t figure out which our plane was and then they couldn’t believe the size of it (small) and they were amazed landing on a dust runway surrounded by wild animals. They will never forget their whole holiday but especially that part!
The Huletts - USA
Thank you for arranging yet another fabulous trip for our clients.
Guess what? They loved Victoria Falls so much they want to come again and more people are joining the group. So far it is more than 1 dozen people. Plus we have another party for the Delta.
Thank you for looking after us and our clients like gold.

THE CLASSIC AFRICAN SAFARI GAME DRIVE
A game drive is the best way to explore the African bush in pursuit of that rare sighting of a wild dog, or for getting up close to wildlife, including magnificent animals such as lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino. There’s simply no better way of getting those amazing photos for your next coffee table boast book, than on an African Safari game drive.
